SAN ANTONIO — Jeremy M. Evans, CEO and Managing Attorney of California Sports Lawyer®, recently led interactive workshops on artificial intelligence at the National Conference of Bar Presidents, as part of the 2026 NCBP Midyear Meeting.
Evans co-presented the session titled "AI in Action: Practical Tools for Bar Associations and Legal Professionals" with Nicole Benjamin (Past President, Rhode Island Bar Association and NCBP Council Member) and Ed Walters (VP of Legal Innovation and Strategy at Clio).
The workshops provided bar leaders and legal professionals with hands-on demonstrations and practical strategies focused on:
- Applying AI in daily legal workflows, including drafting, summarizing, and administrative processes
- Ethical and responsible AI use, including confidentiality, supervision, bias mitigation, and compliance considerations
- Developing structured AI workflows tailored to law firms and bar association operations
The program was designed for bar association presidents, executive directors, and legal professionals seeking to better understand how artificial intelligence is reshaping the profession.
