The Los Angeles Lawyer magazine has published an article by CEO Jeremy M. Evans of California Sports Lawyer® along with legendary sports agent and the real-life Jerry Maguire, Leigh Steinberg, writing about the need of a new mission statement in college sports for name, image, and likeness (NIL) and the transfer portal.

The article appears in the 41st Annual Entertainment Law Issue for May/June 2025 on page 10 of the magazine. The Los Angeles Lawyer publication is the official magazine of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
